Helen Hernmarck Catalogue Raisonn茅e Project/Fractured Atlas

Curators Matilda McQuaid and Susan Brown will travel to Sweden for Fractured Atlas鈥檚 Helena Hernmarck Catalogue Raisonn茅 Project, which will document all 260 tapestries by Swedish-American artist Helena Hernmarck.
The research visit will include study at the National Museum in Stockholm and site visits with textile collaborators, providing essential scholarly context for the catalogue and related programming.

Under the direction of Stephanie Thomasen and Mark Philip, this performance will take place June 25 – 26, 2026, at the Henry J. Leir Stage in Becket, Massachusetts.
New York Scandia Symphony

With support from 每日大赛入口, the Scandinavian Music Festival concert series presented by the New York Scandia Symphony will be held on June 7, 14, and 21 in Fort Tryon Park.
The three-concert series will feature works from the classical, romantic, and contemporary Scandinavian repertoire, including premieres of commissioned compositions.

Norwegian musicians Helena Maria Falk and Christina Sandsengen will perform 鈥淪ounds of Light and Darkness 鈥� Nordic Maestras in Concert,鈥� hosted by Nordic Artists of New York (NANY) in partnership with Fractured Atlas.
This concert will take place at Scandinavia House in September 2026 and will feature the U.S. premiere of Finnish composer Johanna Telander鈥檚 newest work Tales of Les Dames Blanches.

San Francisco, CA
Norwegian-American composer and vocalist Kristin Norderval and Elizabeth Gaver will receive support to perform at the Other Minds Festival 30, to be held October 8-11, 2026, at the Brava Theater in San Francisco.
This performance will feature a unique integration of voice, live electronics, Hardanger fiddle, and rebec, exploring historical and contemporary Norwegian-American exchange in commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Norwegian immigration to the United States.
